My final project for my advanced lighting and portraiture class at the University of Oregon asked students to create a cohesive six image portrait series. 

For my project, I decided to photograph product design major Saachi Poddar to show her personality through a variety of pieces she’s created. My goal with this project was to demonstrate that I can encapsulate a brand and their values while also showcasing the creator’s personality and sense of style through lighting, creative directing and fashion.

In planning this project, Saachi and I created 12 different styles to go with 12 of her pieces, but we ended up only needing to use six for the final critique. Pictured here are portraits featuring her saddle bag, dress, two scarves,  shark pouch, embroidery piece and a pair of 3-D printed clogs. A huge thank you to Saachi for being a part of this project!
